Student questionnaires

The student questionnaires gather important information about family background, school career, learning motivation, and the school and class climate. Data on learning motivation and the school and class climate is reported back at class and school level. Results are not reported on an individual basis.

At primary school level, the student questionnaire is administered in the language of the section. At both levels of secondary school, the student questionnaire is offered in French, German and English, with the option of changing the language at any time during question processing.

Parent questionnaire

At primary school level, there is also a parent questionnaire used to gather additional information on students’ socioeconomic family background that cannot be reliably assessed through the student questionnaire. Information from the parent questionnaire is not mentioned in the results feedback.
